STILL LIFE BRINGS LIFE TO STILLNESS AND STILLNESS TO LIFE.

An intersection of paths. A series of life coincidences. The proof that every being is exactly where it is supposed to be. This is Still Life, an original music project by Joao Silva and Margherita Abita, based in Barcelona. In a fusion of vocals, electronics, and violin, they create a magnetic and enveloping atmosphere, where simple melodies with pure meanings and emotions come to life.

In June 2018 they released their first album, Still Life, and followed up with Dream Machine in early 2019. With lyrics connected to nature and primordial emotions, their goal is to share a message of hope, one literally enclosed in the expression “Still Life.”
