Pavel leads a technology-agnostic, growing global practice of data strategists, scientists, metadata managers, hybrid cloud platform architects, and software engineers. He is frequently engaged by Fortune 500 digital transformation executives in financial, natural resources, and health care sectors to co-create data-informed enterprises in an effort to make better decisions and interventions. In addition to his role at IBM, Pavel is an adjunct professor at Queen’s Smith School of Business and chair for Financial Services Playbook at IEEE's Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems. Pavel regularly speaks at global conferences, advises venture capital firms, and champions digital economic development government initiatives.
