Michal Lev-Ram, based in Silicon Valley, covers the technology and entertainment sectors for Fortune. She also serves as the editorial director of Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit and a co-chair of Brainstorm TECH, Fortune’s annual technology conference. Before joining Fortune, Michal wrote for CNNMoney, Fast Company, and Popular Science, and was a staff writer at Business 2.0.

Born in Israel, Michal holds a degree in journalism from San Francisco State University.
