Mele-Ane leads with empathy toward the next economy.

Mele-Ane is CEO of Small Giants Academy, a nonprofit media and education initiative that explores what it takes to lead with empathy toward the “next economy.” She is also the founding chair of B Lab Australia & New Zealand, part of a global movement of purpose-led business, and a proud member of the Pasifika Storytellers Collective, a collective aimed at supporting and elevating Pasifika voices.

Mele-Ane is a first-generation Tongan Dutch Australian who lives and works on the land of the Kulin Nations. She is passionate about the intersection of Indigenous wisdom, purpose-led business, and the “next economy,” and believes in the immense power of storytelling for change.

Mele-Ane holds an MBA from Oxford, where she was a fellow of the Skoll Centre for Social Entrepreneurship. She also has an LLB/BA from Monash University.
