Megan is the keeper of the Book of Beautiful Business.

Megan Hustad is a writer and editor. Her latest work has focused on exploring how interpersonal relationships shape creative and commercial outcomes. Through her editorial consultancy Wherewithal Press, she helps authors, aspiring authors, companies, and nonprofits to transform their best ideas into finished books, articles, presentations, and scripts.

Prior to this, she worked in the editorial departments of Alfred A. Knopf, Vintage and Anchor Books, Basic Books, and Counterpoint Press, on a wide array of projects. Her articles, reviews, and commentary have appeared in The New York Times, Slate, Salon, Fortune, The Daily Beast, Psychology Today, and Guernica, among others. She is also the author of How to Be Useful (HMH, 2008) and More Than Conquerors: A Memoir of Lost Arguments (FSG, 2014), as well as an upcoming handbook on the editor-edited dynamic as a model for all that's good about working collaboratively.
