McLaren Gould

LOCAL HUB HOST

Boston

McLaren believes beautiful business requires endogenous growth that is culturally matched for individuals, organizations, and economies. She is particularly interested in the vestigial structures that remain from colonial systems and their impact on business and interpersonal relations around the world.

McLaren’s professional experiences range from an informal economy apprenticeship with pottery artisans in Niger, developing university partnerships in the global south focused on entrepreneurship and domestically on workforce reskilling for jobs of the future, using satellites to grow better crops in Portugal, and managing a bocce league. She dabbles in stand-up comedy in her free time.
