JOANA DEDICATES HER LIFE TO SURFING

Joana, born in 1980, has always had a huge passion for the sea because that’s where she feels in peace and harmony.

In the natural sequence of a career dedicated to surf, she showed a greater aptitude for big wave surfing about five years ago, when she decided to move to another level when surfing the giant waves of Praia do Norte. Since then everything has changed in her life, due to a high-risk sport in which physical and psychological discipline are the most important tools to slide the “mountains” of Nazaré. Joana’s way of seeing, feeling, and living became stronger from that moment of learning and conquest that will have repercussions throughout her life.
