Hanae helps new tech talent emerge in Africa.

Hanae leads the work at the pan-African organization Smart Africa on Startups and Innovation Ecosystems, with the mission to support member countries in creating favorable conditions to leverage start-up momentum in the continent.

Hanae is also the founder of Douar Tech, a Moroccan nonprofit organization that promotes the economic independence of young people, especially women, from precarious backgrounds in rural areas, empowering them through training in innovative entrepreneurship and technology. Her areas of interest and expertise are at the intersection of technology, inclusion, entrepreneurship, and international development.
