Felipe aims to reconnect our food system back to its roots.

Felipe is the co-founder of reNature, a non-profit organization that helps companies and international industries make the transition from traditional to sustainable agricultural practices – with agroforestry. Growing up as the child of a 60-year long family business in large-scale organic farming for citrus production in the interior of São Paulo, Felipe has always been involved in sustainable agriculture.

After meeting his co-founder Marco de Boer at the Thought For Food Summit in 2017, they dedicated themselves to making an innovative cultivation system that mimics nature’s ecosystem, the new mainstream. Through its unique, circular approach, regenerative agroforestry leads to enhanced resilience, increased biodiversity, and a more productive, profitable, and climate-positive use of land.
