Ed is the author of Only Planet: A Flight-Free Adventure Around the World, a book about circumnavigating the globe without boarding a plane, as well as a communications specialist, serial entrepreneur, and activist. Through viewing climate change as an opportunity rather than a catastrophic threat to crafting self-disruptive business models, he has formed his own “insultancy”—a cheeky way to inspire clients with judicious wit, wisdom, and play. 

He works as a facilitator with the Forward Institute for responsible leadership, is a Director of Greenpeace UK, and a trustee of Ecolibrium. Prior to this, he was the co-founder of Futerra, a change agency that specializes in business transformation and creative communication and campaigns.
