When Carola sings, the world stands still. 

Born in the Netherlands to Italian and Dutch parents, Carola has studied the piano since childhood, and in 2004 decided to move to Barcelona and dedicate herself fully to singing and theater. She has a great passion for mantra singing, and also loves to sing boleros, bossanova, and her original music. 

Between 2013 and 2020, Carola recorded five albums: Shabad Simran, Zafarana, Pocket Songs, Exhale, and Pramananda, her latest. She teaches devocional singing at the Escuela de Meditación Experimental and voice at the Escuela Laboratorio Teatro, both in Barcelona. She’s a member of the theater company Compañía Laboratorio Teatro and gets invited to sing and teach at yoga festivals both in and outside of Spain.
