Apoorv upcycles CO2 to help machines live longer.

Apoorv is the founder and CEO of Carbon Upcycling Technologies, a Calgary-based clean energy startup that converts CO2 emissions into a nanotech coating that prevent corrosion. One of the ten global finalists in the Carbon X-Prize, Carbon Upcycling is commercializing its process for concrete, plastics, pharmaceuticals, and batteries.

Before developing this technology and founding his own firm, Apoorv worked as a research manager for zEroCor Technologies, managing over 15 projects in collaborations with over ten universities. He is a Forbes 30 under 30 awardee of 2020, and before Carbon Upcycling Technologies, co-founded TOHL, a humanitarian logistics start-up that has conducted water infrastructure projects in Chile, Kenya, and is now expanding operations into Nigeria.
